Our journey
From Turkish tradition to the flavors of Brazil. Discover the milestones behind Brazilian Delight.
01 · The beginning of Loquitos
Loquitos was founded to bring traditional Turkish lokum together with Brazil’s tropical flavors. This vision became Brazilian Delight: a new generation of tropical confectionery produced in Brazil.
02 · Our production facility takes shape
We installed the machines and equipment that turned our vision into a working production facility. This stage laid the groundwork for the first manufacturing trials.
03 · First production trials
Our first production tests focused on texture, flavor and consistency. Each trial helped us adapt traditional Turkish delight to our tropical recipes.
04 · Tastings and flavor development
Tasting sessions helped us refine recipes and explore new combinations. The feedback shaped the distinctive character of our tropical lokum collection.
05 · Packaging with a purpose
We developed packaging and box designs to give our products a clear visual identity. Colors, shapes and details express the meeting of Turkish tradition and Brazilian inspiration.
06 · Preparing for APAS SHOW 2026
We began preparing our products, packaging and commercial materials for APAS SHOW 2026. The goal was to introduce Brazilian Delight to buyers and build new business relationships.
07 · An understanding with Ruivende
We reached a commercial understanding with Ruivende on distribution and marketing. This collaboration supports the development of our market presence.
08 · Callebaut chocolate supply
We agreed on chocolate supply with Belgian chocolate maker Callebaut. Belgian chocolate opens new possibilities for flavor, texture and finish across our chocolate creations.
09 · Legal support for international trade
We engaged the Anderso Balao law firm for legal support in international trade. This relationship supports the development of our cross-border commercial activities.
10 · Protecting our brands and inventions
Anderso Balao was also authorized to act on matters concerning our trademarks and patents. This work supports the protection of the identities and creations we develop.
11 · Pegasus Comex connects our operations
Pegasus Comex became our commercial partner for import and export operations. The collaboration is part of the foundation of our international business.
12 · Bomonti Amazonia finds its flavor
We produced the first Bomonti Amazonia chocolate tablets, bringing the brand’s own flavor identity to life. Made with genuine Belgian chocolate containing 54.6% cocoa, they opened a new chapter in our chocolate collection.
13 · Chocolate that delights the eye
We developed chocolates that place visual presentation alongside flavor. Shapes, details and finishes bring a distinctive character to our creations.
14 · APAS SHOW 2026: new connections
From 18 to 21 May 2026, we welcomed hundreds of Brazilian and international companies at APAS SHOW in São Paulo. The event created opportunities to present our products, hear from buyers and begin new commercial relationships.
15 · A first fair beyond expectations
Loquitos’ first trade fair participation exceeded our commercial expectations. Sales agreements concluded during APAS SHOW 2026 marked an important step in our growth.
16 · The arrival of Fluita
We installed our liquid fruit-preserve production line and created Fluita. The açaí, passion fruit, cupuaçu, soursop and guava flavors attracted strong demand and expanded our portfolio.
17 · A growing distribution network
We established our supply chain in Florianópolis, Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Vitória and Salvador. This network extends our reach and supports our commercial partners.
18 · Joining the Arab-Brazilian business community
We became a member of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. This membership creates opportunities for new connections between Brazil and Arab markets.
19 · Bem Azedo: coming soon
Packaging development for Bem Azedo is complete, and we are preparing the collection for launch. Our sour lokum brings a lively new expression to tropical flavors.
